The key to Lea Porter’s success as an Interior Designer is her ability to listen to her clients and draw from their conversations both the big picture concepts and the small details that create the client’s vision of what they want the space to be. Lea says “Interior design is all about listening!”
Each project is unique. There isn’t a “Lea Porter look.” The design is a process. Her client may come to the first meeting armed with architectural drawings, photos from magazines, books or websites. They might have the general concept of what they are looking for. Or, they may need Lea’s guidance and knowledge to understand what the environment requirements are and help to pull all of the small pieces together to achieve the dream. Lea doesn’t require “carte blanche” and enjoys the challenge of working within whatever parameters the client requests.
As a certified Aging-In-Place Specialist, Lea brings an understanding of the needs of a person facing medical or ageing issues while maintaining independence and a high quality of life.
